Irena Macri is the creative force behind one of the most popular paleo food blogs, Irena Macri, and is the co-founder of the Happy Body Formula and Instant Pot Eats websites.

Irena Macri’s combined her background in digital media and journalism with her passion for food and well-being to create her dream job: full-time food blogger and online entrepreneur.

Drawing on her love of world cuisines and all-natural ingredients, Irena creates delicious recipes that promote wellness and longevity. She is a published author with multiple cookbooks and eBooks under her belt, as well as a creator of online nutrition and wellness plans and courses.

Irena and her recipes have been featured in Women’s Health, Woman’s Day, The Guardian, Marie Claire and Yahoo!.  She has appeared on popular radio shows, podcasts and at conferences.

    Great interview, as usual, Elaine. I like Irena and her story is very inspirational. Sure she is good at cooking Marci is an Italian name 🙂
    Can you please write the first book she talked about, the one she read when she was still working? You seemed to be familiar with it but I don’t know it and missed the title. Also, I was wondering which year was that she kickstart her first book? On Amazon says published 2016 but it must be the reprint from Penguins

      Hi Laura, Thanks for your comment, it means a lot to me. The book she talked about was Tim Ferris’ – The 4 hour work week. There is a link to it in the show notes. I’ll ask when she first published it.
