037: Sarah Cook | Sustainable Cooks

July 5, 2018 By Elaine

Sarah Cook is founder of the Sustainable Cooks food blog: the online guide to a healthy, tasty, and sustainable life. Unfiltered. No BS.

Sarah Cook | Sustainable Cooks Headshot
Years of juggling a full-time job, commuting, kiddos, and caring for her disabled mother taught Sarah Cook some Jedi-like multi-tasking skills. She started blogging in 2010 under the name Frugal by Choice, Cheap by Necessity to share her love of healthy cooking, gardening, and DIY with the masses.

Over the years Sarah has made it her mission to help busy people and families find room in their lives for cooking real food. Sarah believes in meeting people where they are and encouraging baby steps to a healthier and more sustainable life. She hopes each post gives readers the confidence to think, “Hey, I can do that!”

Sarah believes few things can’t be fixed with delicious food, an authentic voice, and plenty of snark.
