February 27, 2019 By Elaine

Born in Florida and raised in New Jersey, Julie Maestre is a twenty-something who is obsessed with food and shares a passion for cooking on her food blog Cooked by Julie.

Julie Maestre Headshot

Julie Maestre attended the Kosher Culinary Arts Center in New York City, worked in several restaurants and bakeries, and finally started her cooking channel on YouTube in late 2012. She started her blog, Cooked by Julie, to share her passion for food and cooking with others.

Julie also enjoys surfing, traveling, reading, poker (she won a ladies poker tournament in Atlantic City not too long ago), skiing, and lying on the beach until the sun goes down, preferably with some sushi and white wine.
