Kimberly and Johnathan Vargo are husband and wife co-owners of the Berly’s Kitchen food blog.
Kimberly and Johnathan Vargo met in 2001 while working at a restaurant in Northwest Arkansas. From day one, the couple dreamed about a future together working with food. They married in August 2002 and within a few years they both left the food service industry. In 2009, the family moved to Miami and for the next nine years, lived in various locations throughout Florida.
In November 2015, Kim started Berly’s Kitchen as a backup plan. She and John were both facing health issues and wanted to have an alternative source of income should one of them become unable to work at a traditional job. One year later, in November 2016, John became too ill to work his day job and left to join Kim at Berly’s Kitchen. In late 2017, the couple expanded Berly’s Kitchen from a food and recipe blog to a photography and videography service for other bloggers.
In January 2018, Kim also left her job to pursue blogging full time and in March, the family returned to Northwest Arkansas.
When they aren’t working on the blog, you’ll find John and Kim playing video games, working out at the gym, and spending time with their 14-yr. old son, Kale.

Great podcast, you can really see how much more can be done when two people work on it together, even if it adds more risk to the family if something goes wrong. Good planning
Elaine
I agree Laura! It’s nice to have a plan and partner! Thank you for your comment.
